This is a first look at the new section of our streamlined website that
will focus on the writings of the owner-artists members of Cool Life
KY,llc. Each week we will be adding new poems, songs, stories and
other writings by our creative team. We will also be adding a
section on this page of literary events and happenings in Kentucky.

This is a new song we
wrote during Gallery Hop on April 19. Theo, Collin and Charley
were hanging out in the studio that night and discussing the weird
energy that each of them had been feeling throughout the day.
Theo mentioned that it was probably because of the upcoming full
moon in Scorpio which was going to begin the following day. We
had been wanting to write a good "story song" like the Eagles "Hotel
California'. So, one of us said, "Let's write the song right
now!" As gallery hoppers swirled around us, we got inspired by
some of our interactions with them and our new song...Scorpio
Moon... was born. Theo created the graphic design image for
the song by combining one of his paintings with a drawing of Tuska.
The song is written for a male and female voice. The female
parts are in red.
We look forward to working the song up so we can share it with you
all in the near future. |
